The CHP 408 Windsor is the combination that started it all. Since we built our first 408 in 1992 this engine has powered more fast Ford cars than any other single combination.
Based on the simple theory that the more air you stuff through an engine with as few pauses as possible, the more power you will make, the 408 Windsor is probably the best engineered 351 in existence. This combination allows excellent airflow, weight compromises, and longevity (through stress reduction) making it a great choice, especially for racers on a budget.

408 Dominator
Are you ready for a ready to run race engine. Based on a 351W (one piece rear main seal) block. The CHP 408 Dominator is a 12.0:1 all forged short block combined with a pair of Edelbrock Victor Jr. cylinder heads that flow right at 320/225. Add a Probe Industries solid roller camshaft and this popular engine is your shortest route to a mid nine second car.
